TascU is designed to make workforce time management as simple as possible while remaining effective.
The manager plans the work. The employee registers working time or completed work. TascU collects the data and helps turn it into controlled working-time and payroll calculations.
In more detail, working-time and payroll calculation follows this workflow:
- Configure settings - Open Settings menu link and configure TascU to your company's needs.
- Add employees - Open menu link Workers and create user accounts for employees and assign the required roles and permissions.
- Create the work schedule - Plan employees' working days and shifts from the Presence menu link. Employees can view their schedule on their phone and, when necessary, submit absence or day-off requests that the administrator can approve or reject.
- Add projects and tasks - For project-based work, define the projects from the Projects menu link, estimated workhours, budget and other relevant information for the project.
- The employee registers the work - The employee starts and ends the working day and/or a specific project or task from a smart device.
- TascU performs the calculations - For hourly work, the system calculates actual working time and applies the relevant payroll rules. For project-based work, calculations can include the project budget, estimated workhours and the employee's performance coefficient.
- The administrator reviews the data - Registered working-time entries should be reviewed and confirmed before the final calculation. Use the Workhours menu link for this. The administrator can correct data when necessary.
- Close project/task - If using project/task based work, you need to close the project/task if all workhours for this work are registered and confirmed. TascU calculates then salary and efficiency coefficients for workers and projects..
- Create a report - Configure the report using Reports menu item. Filter the required period, employees or projects and use the results for working-time, project or payroll calculations.
What makes TascU different?
Traditional time tracking answers the question:
"How many hours did the employee work?"
TascU lets you add two more questions:
"What was that time spent on?"
and
"How did the real workhours compare with the estimated workhours?"
This is where TascU's project/task-based calculation becomes important.
Performance coefficient explained simply
Suppose a particular job is planned to take 8 hours.
If an employee can complete the same work at the required quality in 6 hours, the actual workhours are lower than the planned or estimated workhours and the performance coefficient increases.
If the employee instead spends 10 hours on the same work, the actual workhours are higher than estimated and the performance coefficient decreases.
The performance coefficient is used as a component of project/task-based calculation that determines the employee's compensation proportionally from the project's budget or calculated compensation pool.
The company itself determines how quickly the coefficient changes, its minimum and maximum values, and how many assessed jobs are used in the calculation.
It is important to note that the performance coefficient applies only to TascU's project/task-based calculation.
In traditional hour-based calculation, pay is calculated in the normal way.
Can the two methods be combined?
Yes.
This is one of TascU's key differences.
For example, an employee can receive both an ordinary hourly wage and a project/task-based performance payment at the same time, making it possible to create an automatic and motivating performance-bonus system.
