Cookie Policy

How TascU uses cookies and similar technologies and how you can manage consent.

Last Updated: 07.09.2026

1. What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small data files that a website may store on a user's device. TascU may also use browser local storage to remember requested preferences. This policy explains when these technologies are used and how you can change your choices.

2. Essential cookies and storage

Essential technologies are used to operate and secure the website and customer portal, including sessions, login, CSRF protection, security preferences, language or theme preferences, and remembering your cookie-consent choice. They are not used for advertising and cannot be disabled in the consent panel because required functions may otherwise stop working.

Your cookie-consent choice is stored in the tascu_cookie_consent cookie for up to 180 days so the website does not ask for the same choice on every visit. Login and security cookies may have a shorter lifetime depending on the session.

3. Analytics

Analytics technologies are disabled by default. If TascU enables an analytics service, it is loaded only after you grant Analytics consent in Cookie settings. Analytics may be used to measure visits, pages viewed, technical performance and general usage patterns.

4. External media

Articles or other pages may contain YouTube or Vimeo videos. A connection to the external media provider is not made until you grant External media consent. Without consent, the video is replaced by a privacy-protecting notice and a button for opening Cookie settings.

5. Security and payment services

For specific actions, such as CAPTCHA verification or initiating a payment, necessary third-party security or payment providers may use their own technologies to provide that requested function. They are used only as part of the relevant function and the provider's own terms and privacy policy may apply.

6. Giving and withdrawing consent

On your first visit you can choose “Accept all”, “Essential only”, or open “Cookie settings” to choose categories separately. You can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the website footer.

After consent is withdrawn, new resources in that optional category are no longer loaded. Third-party cookies already stored by the browser may need to be removed through the browser's own settings.

7. Browser settings

You can also delete or restrict cookies through browser settings. Completely blocking essential cookies may prevent login, order management or other important functions from working.

8. Changes and contact

We may update this Cookie Policy when website functionality, integrated services or legal requirements change. Privacy and cookie questions can be sent to support@tascu.ee.
